Indications

- Backache [pain in the back]
- Rheumatic and muscular pains [discomfort associated with joints and muscles]
- Neuralgia [sharp pain along a nerve pathway]
- Toothache [pain around or in a tooth]
- Sore throats [irritation or pain in the throat]
- Menstrual pains [pain associated with menstruation]
Additionally, it helps reduce discomfort and fever in cases of cold and influenza [common viral infections affecting the respiratory tract].
Warnings/Precautions
Special Warnings & Precautions for Use
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- If your sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days, or is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting, consult a doctor promptly.
- This product should not be used with other paracetamol-containing products.
- Alcohol increases the risk of liver damage if an overdose of paracetamol is taken.
- If you have been diagnosed with severe liver or kidney problems, consult your doctor before taking this medication.
- Avoid consuming excessive amounts of tea or coffee together with FEVADOL Extra Tablets, as this may make you tense and irritable.
- Stop using the product and ask a doctor if:
- Pain worsens or lasts more than 10 days
- Fever worsens or lasts more than 3 days

Dosage and Administration
Posology and Method of Administration
FEVADOL Extra Tablets are suitable for adults and children over 12 years of age. It is not recommended for children under 12 years.The usual dosage is 2 tablets up to four times daily, but do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.

- Anticoagulants: Prolonged regular use of paracetamol may enhance warfarin's effects [warfarin is a medication that reduces the formation of blood clots].
- The liver effects of paracetamol may be increased by the concomitant use of alcohol and certain drugs (barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants) which enhance the metabolism of paracetamol in the liver.
Pregnancy and Lactation
Although there is epidemiological evidence of the safety of paracetamol in pregnancy and lactation, medical advice should be sought before using this product.Overdose
In massive overdosages exceeding 10 g of paracetamol, liver damage may occur. Early symptoms may include pallor [paleness], nausea, vomiting, diaphoresis [excessive sweating], and general malaise [a feeling of being unwell].Clinical and laboratory evidence of liver damage may not be apparent until 48 to 72 hours after ingestion. Overdose should be promptly treated by gastric lavage followed by intravenous N-acetylcysteine or methionine without waiting for the results of plasma paracetamol levels. Additional antidote therapy is normally considered based on further plasma paracetamol levels and the time elapsed since ingestion. In all cases of suspected overdose, prompt medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children, even if no signs or symptoms are noticed.
