Composition:

Each 2 ml ampoule contains: Ketoprofen 100 mg.

Properties:

Ketoprofen, a propionic acid derivative, shares the pharmacological properties of other NSAIDs as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory drug. Additionally, Ketoprofen is said to stabilize lysosomal membranes and it may antagonize the action of bradykinin.

Indications:

  • Pain and mild inflammation in rheumatic diseases and other musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Post-surgery.
  • Acute gout.
  • Dysmenorrhea.

Dosage Administration:

Administer 1-2 ampoules daily by deep intramuscular injection for up to 3 days or as instructed by the physician.

Contraindications:

  • Hypersensitivity to Ketoprofen.
  • Aspirin-induced asthma, or any other allergic-type reaction induced by other NSAIDs.

Packing:

Box contains 5 ampoules, each of 2 ml.
