Butaline ER Capsules: Effective Relief from Bronchospasm and Respiratory Disorders
Composition:
Each capsule contains:
- Terbutaline Sulphate 7.5 mg. (in the form of extended-release pellets)
Properties:
Terbutaline is an oral bronchodilator that selectively targets ß2 receptors.
Indications:
For the relief and prevention of bronchospasm in bronchial asthma and in chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and other bronchopulmonary disorders where bronchospasm is a complicating factor.
Dosage Administration:
Adults and the elderly are recommended to take one capsule in the morning and another capsule in the evening.
Contraindications:
- It is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Terbutaline sulphate and other sympathomimetics.
- Care should be taken with patients suffering from myocardial insufficiency or thyrotoxicosis, as serious hypokalaemia may result from ß 2-agonist therapy.
- Terbutaline should only be administered with caution during the first trimester of pregnancy.
Side Effects:
In some cases, there may be:
- Tremors
- Tachycardia
- Palpitations

The box contains 3 strips, each with 10 capsules.
