What is Thiapril and its Purpose Thiapril has been prescribed by your doctor to address hypertension, commonly known as high blood pressure. It combines two active ingredients: enalapril and hydrochlorothiazide. Enalapril belongs to a group of medications called angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACE inhibitors), while hydrochlorothiazide is classified as a diuretic or water tablet.
